I do not know if there are any "regulars" who visit this site, but if there are you must have noticed by now that my updates are becoming fewer and farther between. I am in the process of restructuring the entire site, as well as redefining the club's purpose. I cannot say for sure when it will be ready for launch, but I can share a few of the basic premises that will be implemented.- New front page, with new SFDGC logo
- New division of pages
- Focus on recreational players
- Bulliten board for all to post to in real-time
- Goods section
- Pictures of the course, along with a revised front nine
I shot a round with a guy the other night who kept telling meI need to focus on recreational players instead of pros...
He is right, pros are not going to get this course built.
We are recreational players, and we want to surround ourselves with others like us who want a place to throw discs in San Francisco. Not to sound like I do not want pros to come out and shoot the course with us, but I want pros to know that this course is not built for them. And it will not be. Not until 100 amatuers have joined the ranks of the SFDGC and marched upon the powers that be, to voice our desire....you get my drift. =)
