June Monthly Disc Golf Picnic
On Sunday, June13th the San Francisco Disc Golf Club hosted its monthly
disc golf picnic in Golden Gate Park. This picnic was also our follow-up
picnic for World's Biggest, and it wound up being somewhat of a glory
days all-star event. We set up 13 of the 20 holes slated for the Safari
this year, fired up the BBQ, and had a good ole time. Hagen and Kevin
from Santa Cruz showed up, and get major props for helping us put out
and bring back in all of the baskets. 13 baskets may not sound like a
lot, but then again, you never know until you've given it a go =).
Pete Sontag, Mr. Neal, and some cat named Chili were all in attendance. All told, it was another beautiful day of golf in Golden Gate Park.
